I have been diving my drysuit for about 14 dives and am starting to get the hang of it. I still sometimes get the floaty feet thing going on and an instructor friend of mine suggested getting some gaiters. It seems like a good idea since it could limit the amout of air going to my feet.

So what are the downsides to using gaiters? Would I be wasting $60 buying these things?

If you sometimes get the floaty feet thing, before you buy the gaiters try to determine why sometimes before you buy the gaiters.
