Doubles Band Depth at Bolt

I am working on an experiment and need the maximum and minimum dimensions of the depth of doubles bands at the bolt for 7¼" (184mm) cylinders. I know it will vary a little but I would appreciate any measurements you can give me.

I think my bolt is 5/16-18 x 4 inches. You probably don't want to use a fully threaded bolt.

I am looking for the distance between the flats on the bands indicated by the “???” in the image above, not the bolt length. Thanks.

On my bands it's 1.855 inches on the outside and 1.487 on the inside of them. I think these are DR bands? My dial calipers are not metric. but google says that's 47.117 mm and 37.77mm respectively.

anywhere between 1 -1/2" and 2 " should work. I don't think there is any specific standard.
