Domestic flights from Sorong to Alor/Kupang?

Greetings, folks -

Just exploring the possibility of adding Alor onto the end of a Raja Ampat trip. We would have to travel from Sorong to Alor, probably via Kupang. Anyone have experience with this route? I have no clue if this is possible ... just throwing it out there. We would want to continue to Denpasar or Jakarta after Alor.

When I lived in Indonesia, I used to use this site to check out possible flights within the country.. Doesn't look too good though, there was no match for a connection from Sorong to Alor, not even via Kupang or Jayapura (capital of Papua Barat), or Ambon (Maluku, somehow on the way)..
Hopefully someone else can help more than I..

you cannot fly from Sorong to Alor or Kupang.

To get to Alor you need to 1st fly to Kupang. Then get an short flight to Alor.
Alor has a tiny aiport and only has 1or2 flights per day, and that is to Kupang.
Kupang is connected with most major cities in Indo (Jak,Sur,Bali,Mak etc)

So you could fly Sorong-Makassar-Kupang-Alor.... but it would probabily take 2-3 days due to connections/delays.
Suggest if you want to add on to a trip to Sorong either Bali or N.Sul are the easy options

Yeah ... I knew it was probably a long shot when I posted the question, but I thought I'd give it a shot. As with so many places in Indonesia, "you can't get there from here." Thanks for the reply!

Kupang to Makassar flight is not reliable enough. From Sorong the best would be Bali or Jakarta, then overnight, then to Alor. Just note that the Bali or Jakarta flights to Alor is possible only on Thursday and Sunday ( due to the Kupang-Alor in the afternoon ). And to go back to Bali or Jakarta is possible every Tuesday and Saturday ( due to flight from Alor to Kupang in the morning).
