Juz got my D300 + MDX recently and m planning to get the DX Fisheye 10.5mm + NX Fisheye Dome Port. Will appreciate feedback and suggestion on this set up. I was previously using the F100 with AF20mm + compact dome port and have been happy with the result. Thx.

I got the optical dome port for my MDX D300....its smaller than the NX Fisheye at only 8". I went for the glass port as it was more scratch resistant and easier to pack when traveling. Works perfectly with the 10-17 Tokina. With the Sigma 18-50 F2.8 HSM Macro, I have to use the SX extension ring with it.

Standard NX flat port, SX Extension ring and Optical dome port is all I need to use the 105VR Macro, 60mm Macro, 18-50 Sigma, 10-17 Tokina. However, I do have other ports too ;)

I m planning to use my AF20mm with the compact dome port but sea & sea 2008 system chart says that the SX Extension Ring is required. Do I need really need the SX Ext Ring? System Chart | SEA&SEA |

If you use the compact dome port, I would say that is accurate. It is a little smaller than the optical dome port. Perhaps someone else can shed some light on this too. The Sea & Sea charts are not too concise and do not highlight all the options and/or possibilities.

I ended with a 10.5mm fisheye lens and an optical dome port. I am happy with the result from the last in mid April. These are both great lens and port, respectivley.
