Hello from Saskatchewan
I just returned from Maui to the cold of Saskatchewan. My daughter and I had one of the most amazing dives with Shaka Doug at Shaka Divers. He took us to 5 Graves at Turtletown by Makena. We dove into a cave with a reef shark, swam with turtles and held an octopus. We were certified in Maui 2 years ago after having taken the confined water portion of the course here at our local swimming pool. My daughter was 15 years old at the time. Returning to Maui this year with her was really special.
I have completed 34 dives in the 2 years since I have been certified. I have dove Ogden point at Victoria, British Columbia; Puerto Vallerta; the Mayan Riviera, including the Cenotes; and, I have dove many lakes here in Saskatchewan. I purchased my own equipment about a year ago and I am hooked. I am already thinking about where to go diving next February when it is cold and miserable here in Saskatchewan. So I look forward to reading about the many places people write about on this forum.
Thank You
