I use Windows 7 and it comes with Windows Live Movie Maker. It works well for me.
Same here, Movie Maker. It's alright but would love more functions, like being able to cut multiple segments at the same time as opposed to being able to cut only one portion out at a time.
I'm sure there are other things that could use improvement but it's a free program and does the basics so I love it.
