I have gust purchased the Dacor Viper Metal and was wondering if it is compatible with Nitrox mixes under 40%. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, basically any newly manufactured reg is fine to use with nitrox as long as the oxygen content is 40% or less. Some titanium based first stages are not recommended for nitrox.
