Saw the Aqualung Malibu at a LDS, and it looked really comfy for a back bladder type BC. Really comfy looking shoulder straps and back padding.

Anyone have one of these?

I did at one time. I really liked it. The only problem I had was I wanted a BC with more pockets and D rings, so I got a Black Diamond. I will say that I felt it to be a comfortable BC that took me on quite a few dives. What do you want to know?

I guess just how you liked it...? How it held up? Did it function well (less the d rings)?

It has back inflation.... and looked very comfortable.

Thanks for you input.

I took it on a lot of dives, and I was happy with it. If you aren't used to back inflation, it can take getting used to. They (back inflation BC's) are sensitive to overweighting. To trim properly, I recommend using steel tanks.

I love my malibu, it is very comfortable and has plenty of d-rings for recreational divers. It does lack pockets besides a small one in the front but that's what makes it so streamlined and comfortable. You never even know the wing is there even when fully inflated. Very durable and no mechanical problems.

I have and love a Zeagle Ranger that is awesome, but two of my dive buddies use Malibus and they really like them, they are both dive masters..
