You have completed your OW course and are a certified diver. You have, lets say, 15 or more dives under your belt since you recieved your certification, but have not taken any other classes.

Do you ever go back and review the text book and or videos that came with your OW course or do they end up collecting dust?

I started out as a once- or twice-a-year diver. And I did review my OW and AOW manuals before each trip.

Now I review my OW manual before each OW class I help teach. Never can remember the correct sequence of the 5-point descent and 5-point ascent. Not that it matters when you actually dive, but the instructor's like to get it in the right order when teaching it.

What textbook?

Just kidding............

DUST, they're gathering dust.
But then I just learned to dive last May and I've been getting wet as often as I can, wherever I can, whatever the temperature. :D

My first and second trip I reviewed the basic book, after that I liked to review the AOW book for specific dives.

The last couple of times I've rewatched the rescue video.

I would have to say the Nitrox text book.

yes, but i thought they sucked, so i rented out books from the library and did
internet searches.

found Doing it Right: The Fundamentals of Better Diving, and thought it was
a gold-mine. then got my hands on the NOAA Diving Manual, and also read
the Navy Dive Manual.

much better than my course materials

here's the Navy Diving Manual on line:

here is the amazon.com page for the Fundamentals book (read the reviews;
they are mixed):

Whenever I'm on my "thinkin' chair", which is nearly every day.

I do actually.. I generally try to review most if not all of my student manuals prior to diving. The night before. Considering that I dive about every 2 weekends I find it helps to reinforce what I've learnt and makes my dives the next day a lot more relaxing!
I usually do a mental dress-rehearsal of kitting up and do's and don't of diving before I depart the next morning...
