Never knew there was a name for that! My friends and I all had it at your age - now that I am 26 if I remember to exfoliate regularly it goes away. If I get busy and skip the scrubby poof in the shower, it comes back. Just don't overdo it or you'll be all red.

I know 11 years probably seems like forever; hang in there :-)

I had it as a child. It got better as I got older and is now gone. My daughter has it on her arms. The Dermatologist said there is not much he can do for it. He prescribed a special lotion that did not make much difference. The best news is that it is something you will grow out of. I know that doesnt make it easier right now.

thanks for ur chicken skin info!

My son & youngest daughter have it. Tried many types of expensive OTC lotion & a few different RX's. Nothing helped. My boyfriends sister is always giving us stuff. Boxes full of soap, shampoo, etc. Inside one of her care packages was a bottle of St. Ives Intensive Healing Lotion. It worked like magic! I don't know why & I don't know if it will work for you. But it's cheap & can't hurt to give it a try.
