Am I able to teach and to certify students as a PADI OWSI without a diveshop? How do I add the PIC to the processing center? Thanks a lot!

You may teach independently. Ask your PADI regional office how to do the PIC; I only know for the US.

Added:
If you are registered with PADI as an instructor, you shoujld be able to go to pro.padi.com and click on Online Processing Center. To submit a PIC, you need first to buy the PIC from the PADI shop.

No and yes.. Depending upon where you are at. The diveshop might be the only viable funnel of students. If you can produce your own funnel of students and secure your own resources for gear, pools, and dives then your fine.. BUT.. I can tell you that as a recent Instructor the pay thru a diveshop is much better than I can source on my own. I can get paid $x per session to teach the class or I can pay $x per student per pool, $x per gear rental per day, and $x per boat dive.. (In my area everyone expects checkouts to be on boats).. I can't compete with the rate the diveshop will pay to to teach their students with all those expenses..

So the answer is.. It depends.. Some shops will talk candidly with you before you get the certification, some will use it as a lead to sell you IDC..

PIC card processing and all of that is covered though in divemaster class.. So to answer that question.. You call your regional or buy pic credits via the pro site and assign them out..
