I need some help from some of you computer geeks please.

Here's the deal. I have an analog video camera and am trying to download them onto my computer to convert to digital I bought my software, got it installed and now when I go to "fire it up" I get a message saying I need to enable the DMA. I have gone thru the device manager and the system's computer management, following step by step the instructions. But, I have not been able to enable the DMA. I realize this might somewhat vague but I don't know how else to describe the situation.

Anyone interested in trying to help resolve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

I appreciate the website. I have Windows XP but I will check the website out further.

What the illustration shows for Win 2000 was what I tried a couple of nights ago but still couldn't get it to work. I have the next 2 days off (hopefully) so I will give it a try.
