Neat idea! how long do you need to run it for typically and what setting. I would worry myself a bit about overheating the dryer with the backpressure causing a lower flow than it's designed for, though I guess they have the thermal cutout already in there and maybe on low there is plenty of headroom.

I thought about that too but so far the hair dryer seems to be working well. My drysuit glove leaked yesterday and the attached insulation was saturated. I wrung it out and stuck it on my dryer and it was dry in about 1 hour.
 
Found a new use....speed warming adhesives when they've been living in a cold garage.
