I recently purchased the S1 and housing and I am impressed by the image quality (after much experimentation) and excellent video mode. However I wanted to attach a macro close up lens to the housing but didn't want to spend a fortune doing so. SOLUTION- I unscrewed the sun hood from the Canon LAH-DC10 lens adapter, stuck some velcro on the inside(for a snug fit) and slid the wide end over the s1 lens housing. This enabled me to simply screw on my existing 52mm thread macro lens to the end of the sun hood. It stays in my bcd pocket and can be added/taken off as the need arises. I will post some of my S1 pics with and without the adapter as soon as I have time.
It has worked great for me and is compatable with other lenses, filters etc.
Let me know what you think.
