guys i lost all my cad files and drawings of diy backplate, i tried searching here but couldnt find it anymore. does someone have a link or cad files/drawings for backplates? thanks

hey, what's involved in adding holes or slots to an already existing steel backplates? is it okay to just drill or cut a hole there and then file it to smooth it out, or does it involve something more complex?
 
That's all it takes, Floater!

Make sure that you don't have the drill bit turning very fast. If you try to drill through with a very high rpm, you'll work-harden the stainless steel and dull your bit.

Slow speed, heavy feed.
