" The ORCATORCH ZD710 is a versatile backup dive light for the semi-technical diver or a primary light for recreational diving. The main feature that I love about it is its adjustable beam. It can go from a narrow 8° to a 76° wide angle. It has a maximum of 2700 Luman brightness. The head of the light can rotate to adjust the beam angle.
The ZD710 light has four modes: 250, 750, 1600, and 1700 lumen. Three are cycled through by pressing the button, and the fourth light mode is a turbo mode accessible with a long, firm, continuous press. Meaning is goes back to the previous selected light level ones the button is not pressed any longer.
Its IP68 waterproof rating is 150 meters, which is well within the range needed by most divers.
Like other ORCATORCH dive lights, the ZD710 has a battery power Indicator around the power button. This indicator shows the real-time battery level: green light on (over 30%), red light on (10% ~ 30%), and red light flashing (less than 10%). It also includes an intelligent lockout function, like other ORCATORCH dive lights. Press the power button for 5 seconds to lock the light in shutdown mode, and quickly double-click the button to unlock it when needed. Two blinks indicate whether it is locked or unlocked, and if you press the power button in lock mode, the power indicator will light up green.
The light includes the ZD710 flashlight, one USB-C rechargeable battery, a charging cable, a bracket module, a lanyard, and spare O-rings. However, a second spare battery would have been great, like the ORCATORCH D530V, which comes with two batteries.
The ZD710's really nice feature is the "bracket module," which allows you to attach the light to either a soft Goodman handle like the ORCATORCH WS02 wrist strap or a hard Goodman handle like the ORCATORCH H620.
Overall, the ZD710 is an excellent value for money. "
