Interesting Video. looks like a pretty cool experience. Did someone work with these seals to acclimate them to humans?

No - the techniques work with any grey seals (I've used all round UK coast)
One important factor is time of year - linked to hormonal changes I believe associated with this time of year (when they pup and mate).
