Hi Fellow divers

In August this year, I was lucky enough to be able to go diving off the Conflict Islands, Papua New Guinea.

I will be honest, it was an amazing experience and one I have to recommend to every diver. I have been diving in many places around the world but never have I seen such coral cover as in these areas. We use the term "gardens of coral" but for this area on every dive, I would use "blankets of coral". There are soft & hard corals of all shapes, species and colours on offer.

The local community is helping to protect these "blankets" which is also great but need to spread the word about the condition and help them create that awareness.

Please read the report here on Medium, and I hope it inspires you to get out to the Milne Bay area of Papua New Guinea.

Thank you
Terry
