Has anyone else seen, or remember, a diver survey like this:?

In the Fall of 2000 you and over 12,000 other divers participated in the Safety Survey of Recreational Scuba Divers. A report of those results has been accepted for presentation at the June scientific meeting of Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society. Articles in dive magazines will soon follow.

I went on and took it, and will be interested to see the results. The followup says:

Thank you for taking this survey. If you know other divers who would be interested in taking it survey, then please tell them to go to the following URL: http://www.zoomerang.com/survey.zgi?TF8T9M4T1L7BNDMCX26BKBL0

If its a farce, then I will just be embarrassed and go on.

David...it's legit. Dr. Colvard has done alot of research and come up with a pretty comprehensive survey. When he first started the research, he ask divers to tell of any type of panic situations they had been in, any experiences with DCS, etc. in extreme detail. This was about about 18 months ago.

I've seen references to his work from some very distinguished folks in the dive community.

I'm glad to see he's getting some recognition for it.

and I'm pretty sure it refers to a survey I filled out, Summer 2000, during a Keys drive trip - I recal pretty simple dive history questions - No big deal.

I'm a little interested in that the URL's seem slightly different in the messages I've seen?

Cheers

Some of the more significant research results of the Dive Surveys conducted 2000-2004 and other articles I've written and presentations I've made can now be downloaded from www.DivePsych.com. In September 2007 I led a Dive Stress-Anxiety-Panic Workshop for DAN-SouthernAfrica in Johannesburg.

Thank you for supporting and participating in these studies.
