We are looking to go diving on the Pacific side of Mexico in the Spring of 2016. Specifically to catch a glimpse of the whale migration (orcas, whale sharks), both above and if possible below the surface. Any suggestions as to general time in terms of which weeks (ie..last week of March, middle of April) and specific recommendations of locations and dive shops would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for the information.

Last time I went to Cabo san lucas in January there were quite a lot of Humpbacks. From January to early April there are quite a lot of them at Revillagigedo Islands but you will need a liveaboard.

It's not the Pacific side of Mexico, but the Sea of Cortez has Blues, Fins and lots of Humpbacks from January through March. This photo is from the Northern Sea of Cortez in mid-February.
