I'm not finding much information on diving the quarry on the Internet. Does anyone know where I can find current dive conditions? Is there a dive shop nearby where we can get tank fills? I know that conditions start to get bad in June due to algae, but I'm wondering if that will be delayed this year due to the cold weather.

Any tips appreciated.

Thanks

Tom

Hi
Visibility is quite bad. 5-10' at most. Lots of particulate

That "particulate" must be storm water runnoff this time of year and not campers' sewage, I hope?

To my knowledge there is now camper sewage going into the quarry.

Sherkston is known for algae blooms. Typically, the viz is best early in the season and in Oct/nov.

Apparently the viz wasn't good all winter ..

You ever been to Windmill Point, not far from Sherkston?
