Anyone looking for a dive buddy for Scuba Ranch I'll be at the park sometime around 10. Just PM me.

Safe diving!

Did a couple of dives last Saturday and must say viz below 36' was down to zero. I had my camera with me and lost count the number of times I banged the dome port on hard objects. On the second dive, I descended on to one of the sailboats and I was on top of it but couldn't really see where I was on the boat, so no boat pics. LOL!

This was the only perch that didn't mind having its photo taken.

I was out there all weekend with my son, who was finishing up his OW dives. Did two dives with him on Sunday (his last training dive and then a tour) and gotta say vis above the thermocline was much better than it normally is this time of year. Not terribly cold, either.

Congrats on your son's OW cert. The viz was definitely better above the thermocline. During the winter months, when the water is around 45F and hardly anyone in the water, the viz is a lot better around 5 - 8ft.
