Diving Perhentian Is,Malaysia in first week of November...

I've booked flights to KL for 10 days and would like to know the same. It's been advised to me that I should stay to the east side of Malaysia around the Sabah area.

I am travelling alone also and would ideally like somewhere that offers reasonable accommodation rates (being alone I don't really care where I sleep as long as its near good diving and clean).

or should I just start my own thread??

I was on perhentians for 6 months, you can't "trust" monsoon seasons, beautiful islands & the small one has more life if you're travelling alone, being a small island prices are higher than the main land. I stayed in Semporna for a few days, expensive & not pretty but the diving was amazing. You could try Mabul but I hear its expensive.
