I have been looking for a dive op on, or near, Denarau Is. and it has been a little difficult to find anything that is priced well.
A group of 9 of us will be staying at the Worldmark and we will do about 30 total 2 tank dive days between us.
Many of the dive ops are offering 6 and 10 dive packs, which appear to be really well priced. When I contact these ops and ask about the deals, they double their prices.
It appears that in dive packs you are going to pay $50-60 USD per 2 tank (nice!), but then the doubling happens and you are looking more like $120 (OUCH).
Is this just a bait and switch situation, or a take advantage of a tourist situation, or something else?
Are there any "respectable" dive ops that anyone knows of in this area? We will possibly rent a car to drive to an Operator if it saves us enough money and would drive up to an hour.
Would it just be better to work out a deal once we get there, instead of trying to book ahead of time?
There is tons of information about liveaboards, diving resorts and island ops here, but I have struggled to find any info on other ops.
