Diving on Mauritius?

Anyone have a review of the diving opportunities in Mauritius?

I was there 3 years ago and found the diving to be rather disapointing (I've been diving around the world for the last 17 years), however, I really enjoyed the island itself and the diving was a fun way to spend a morning and meet people. I had been in Madagascar (a fourth world county) for a month before so perhaps it was just being in a civilized spot that I found it so nice. I wouldn't go there specifically to go diving, but if your going there anyway, go for a few dives (I enjoyed the night dive the most). I stayed near Grand Baie and was picked up at my hotel whenever I decided I wanted to go for a dive!! If your looking for reasonably priced accomodation and a choice of some restaraunts and a bit of night life, Grand Baie is your best choice!!!

I was hoping to include them in an upcoming dive story but sounds like it's not a great fit if judged solely on diving.
