diving near Sudbury?

so a buddy and i are going to in Sudbury with a day off from work next week. curious first, if there is much diving near Sudbury, ONT... maybe within an hour or 2 driving at most? looks like near lots of fresh water possibilities, but neither of us are from the area, and looking for any recommendations on dive shops for gear rental, and maybe some more guidance.

I'm going to assume that you and your buddy are not visiting Sudbury strictly for it's diving (I hope). You won't have a hard time finding a place to get wet, but the closest wrecks/etc are in northern Lake Huron. I highly recommend drysuits regardless of the location. Hopefully somebody can chime in on dive shops, but worst case there is always Google.
