Prior to my Eid Al Adha trip to Ras Al Hadd, my buddy decided that we should dive around Muscat for a change as she wasn't keen on going to the Damaniyat Islands again.

In short she booked with Extra Divers in Qantab and we stayed at an Air BnB close by (10 min drive).

In short we did an afternoon dive when we arrived and two morning dives the next day. We were hoping to dive the wreck at Bandar Khayran, but the weather conditions were too windy, which killed my plans to shoot wide angle.

That said, the water was nice and warm 30-32C and we had three excellent dives in and around the proximity of the dive centre. The boat and dive crew were excellent and the dive centre well run. No doubt we will return here when the weather is more agreeable.

A pair of cuttlefish spotted at Jissah Point on the first dive.
