Hello folks.

I'm traveling to Mallorca for a conference in mid November & would like to take a couple of days to dive.
I know the general "season" ends on 21st October, but am still looking for recommendations:

- what location should I focus on ? west side, east side, north side ? other ? ... conference is in Palma, but I could stay elsewhere beforehand if it's closer to better diving

- any "must try to see" recommendations ? i prefer fish to wrecks, and colourful things over brown.

- anything to avoid in november ? any weather conditions to take into account ?

1000+ dives, happy in cool water (~14ºC+) , deep-certified.

As you spotted, you will be off season. So it is less a questions of where best to got than rather of what's still operational....
Here are some that may be still open, but check directly with them.
Southwest, with Isla Dragonera: H2O Scuba Academy or Mallorca Diving Adventure
East: Cala Santanyí Diving
North: Octopus Mallorca in Puerto Soller
Difficult to say which one is my favourite, perhaps the one in Puerto Soller because of the town.
