What is it? How do you know when you achive it? Does it differ from region to region? This is a question that has been stuck i nmy craw for a few weeks now. I have tried to research this and I have come up with lots of adult material but none of it is worth repeating.

Any insight into this would be great. Thanks

Why should one care? Dive when you want, relax, enjoy your life. It's not about fitting a model, it's about enjoying your life. For some of us, that includes lots of diving.

Of course, if you're turning your house into a gear locker, your garage into a fill station, your mantle into a museum, your non-diving sig into an ex, and your wallet into an empty flap of leather, you might be living the diving lifestyle already. Have you considered moving to the ocean?

Like any other addiction it will slowly take over your life, suck you dry financially and leave you barefoot and alone wearing the only clothes you own and craving for that next fill....

The day you look in the mirror and think "hmm, I should really save up for a razor" is the day you get there.... :)

Diving lifestyle to me is - when I think of business casual (attire) I think of shorts, tee-shirt and Teva sandals.

I am not trying to fit in just curious if I was missing anything. I for sure am not going to change anything I do in my life. I am curious if it was being nice to other divers or trying to seduce others into diving. Just curious thats all. So far I have a closet but that might expand to another closet as for the garage that might happen this fall.

Any things else?

A diving lifestyle is/represents your current level of obsession with the sport:

If you quit your job and move to Cancun and buy a boat and buy a bunch of equipment and take people out on divetrips as a Divemaster... er... ahhh...
