Hello everyone,
My boyfriend and I are planning a 10-day trip to Bahamas for next February/March.
We are diving for 5 years now and have both around 50 dives.
The first 5-6 days we want to go diving and we are especially interested in diving with sharks. We read that you dive with tiger sharks and hammerhead sharks on Grand Bahamas (freeport).
1) Is this the best spot to dive with sharks at this time of the year?
We also read that Bahamas has some nice ship wrecks that you can visit during your dive.
2) Which are the ones that you shouldn´t miss and which one can you leave out?
3) Is it possible to find an area where you dive with sharks very nicely and visit a beautiful ship wreck (another day)?
We want to stay more or less on the same island for our diving days (day trips are totally fine). After our diving days we would like to visit another island (by plane) and just relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches.
4) Do you think that 2 islands in 10 days are too much?
5) If not, do you have any suggestions for a second island?
