I've always wanted to go to Yonaguni for some diving to see the hammerheads as well as the underwater ruins. What is the best time of the year to go? Also, I've been searching around but couldn't find too many dive shop options as well as reviews to those shops. Are there any reputable dive shop that you would recommend?

Thanks a lot for your help and advice!

If you want to see both hammerheads and ruins you have to come Jan-Mar with late Jan -early feb the best for sharks. We run trips down there every month and have English speaking guides on the island for shark season. Great diving year round down there with huge schools of fish, tuna , marlin- some great reef dives, fabulous viz and warm water (30C), 23-25C during shark season.
