Hey guys, I'm going to be in Vegas for work for 3 weeks, and looking to do some diving. Can anyone give me some info on places that are local to dive? I know Lake Mead is an option, anything else besides the casino stuff? And also my days off our the typical Vegas show crew days off, Monday/Tuesday/Thursday. Any info/help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Nick

The only shore based diving I know of at Lake Mead is Kingman Wash. There are plenty of sites if diving from a boat. Hopefully someone from the LV area can chime in and offer you a ride. :)
Lake Mohave is another popular location visited by LV divers. Contact Jerry at the Dive Shack, he can provide all the information you'll need.
We run into LV divers at Sand Hollow just outside Saint George, Utah. Last weekend the surface temps were in the high 70's, downside is with the water levels so low, you'll be lucky to find 40 feet.

You can always drop down to Laughlin and hit Lake Mohave.
