Hello all.
I have been racking my brain about where to dive this march on my first trip to the Philippines on a very short 2 week trip.

I was thinking about starting in Apo Island/Dumaguete area then taking the ferry to dive some sites in Bohol--maybe Calibao to see the seahorses.

I had the most experience in Sipadan and thus got spoiled. What an amazing site.

any recs are appreciated
thanks

welcome to the board. Sipadan is a beautiful place. You picked some awesome dive destinations for marine life, and with close proximity to each other (ie relatively convenient transportation). Dumaguete and Cabilao will give you your fill of macro critters, while Apo Island will offer you turtles, groupers, trevallies and school of barracudas and jacks. If you choose to stop by Alona beach, they have a resident school of jacks that are fun to dive with.

If you're talking about the pygmy seahorses, I've only seen the orange pygmies in Cabilao and Anilao. In Dumaguete I've seen the purple/pink pygmies.

Pop by the PPD subforum that Dwaters mentioned for more info.

welcome aboard
