Thought I'd share my recent dive info in St. Thomas August 2-8th.

Dove with Admirality Dive Center - excellent dive shop. They are all very knowledgeable, amiable, and experienced. Highly recommended and I will definitely dive with them again. The owner Duane Hausch is not only a great dive master, but very knowledgeable about the area and sites, very good assuring everyone is taken care of and gave good detailed dive briefings insuring everyone new the plan and had a great, safe time. His dive masters are all very knowledgeable, fun and I felt always in good hands. Their dive boat held 8-12 people, though each day we went out usually with 6-8.

Did eight dives, several very good reefs and a couple wrecks including the Miss Opportunity, which was an easy fun intermediate level wreck dive and then the WIT Shoal which was an excellent more advanced wreck dive.

General dive conditions were great all week, the reefs were as good as I've dove in the northern Bahamas or Florida Keys. Great diversity of fish, several turtles, huge sponges, and great hard and soft corals.

While I was there I decided to get two PADI Specialties; Deep and Buoyancy. I thought the training was as good as I've gotten with any specialites. I'm currently doing Rescue which will give me all I need for my Master Dive Rating. Note - Rescue is an excellent course and highly recommended for every diver!

Hope this helps!
