I will be in Santiago, Cuba in November on a cruise and would like to know if anyone has any info on the local dive facilities, sites, contact info, or advice so that I may make arrangements before I arrive.

Thank you!

I think the wreck diving in the bay where the cool wrecks are requires special permission- which in Cuba will likely take forever. But Brisas Sierra Mar and Club Amigo Carisol Los Corales are resort hotels in the area that both offer diving. I know that the instructor at Los Corales will take out people outside the regular resort dives to certain local wrecks. However the tricky part is contacting them- the eastern part of Cuba is not as well connected as the west. Try contacting the hotels and see if you can get a number to call for the dive centres.

ed. Just to add- their gear is pretty beat-up so take your own if you can.
