Rarotonga.
New to Scubaboard, and have only been diving (50 dives) since I started my Round The World trip form the Uk (last August). Dived in Borneo, got my Padi in cairns, and have just dived with The Dive Centre in Rarotonga, they were a great bunch, friendly, but very professional. Great visibility there, and a variety of dive sites. They helped me get my Advanced Qualification (PADI) and I am now off for 6 weeks to Fiji, Vanuatu, and Tahiti. Any advice happily received on where to dive, what best to see, and where to stay.

That really sounds great! I was in Rarotonga two years ago, did some dives at Bora Bora, Moorea, and Riateia wish I was there now.

You can rent a car in Tahiti and take the car ferry to Moorea if you want, if you look around you can find some reasonable places to stay or get one of the over water bungalows but they add up fast. We dove with Bathies at the intercontinental.
