Diving in P.G. in Philippines

Have any one tried Mabuhay dive resort or Action diver. It seems that they are very good. Any suggestions

Hi There:

I dove with Action diver in Mid 2003. They were pretty good!! I stay at the Portofino right next door to the Action diver and Mabuhay resort is not far from action diver at all. I believe both resorts are quite modern and nice and since they are located in small laguna it is quieter and the beach are a lot nicer compare to sabang. If you want night life; sabang is not that far away (5-10min walk). I think you will have a good time on either one of them. BTW, it seems like Mabuhay has more Korean divers than the other resorts. Hope the information can help!!

I regularly dive (Regular DM of the resort) from Portulano, a new resort sharing the bay of Anilao. The Rooms are NEW!!! just finished last December 2003. It has a SUN/MOON deck thats really great for sunbathing or star watching!!!

I have heard nothing but good things about Action Divers. I read here that Pacific Divers offer the best rates. Perform a search cause this topic has come up various times (also take a look in the Philippine Paradise Divers forum).

ya, pacific divers on White. But it's hard to get to Sabang from White since they're on opposite sides of PG. Not only, boat taxis are not allowed to operate in the dark (night time), so you can't hitch a ride back from sabang to white beach after a night out drinking.

If you don't want to stay at Sabang (where all the noise and action is) but not far away from it, I reco the Laguna beaches (small laguna or big laguna). Small laguna is only a 15 min walk from sabang.

It' s not a night drinking i' m thinking about; just maybe restaurant, one or 2 drinks, hang around,some music and back to sleep aroud 11Max. No more jeepney at that time? Is there some night life in White beach? it could be with them or Octopus divers + villa Sabang as i think to do a 3 day cruise to Apo?
What do you think about? Any alternative?
