Hi there. Have you ever dived in Naxos?
I started diving in a beautiful resort in Cyclades Naxos called "Naxos Diving Centre" two years ago and I want to share my experience with you so if you travel to Naxos better know a few good things.
Excellent instruction, consideration, and hospitality.
I was very pleased for their professionalism.
The centre has a very friendly atmosphere , is 20 metres from the beach
(Plaka beach) and its full of flowers (so in summer time you do dive training in a fantastic yard lets say)
they also have very good professional diving gear. So i didn't need second thought... i did my owc there ,then i continued to aowc and now i 'm a rescue diver following Divemaster course.
The fun is that both instructors are called Manolis. They are friends since childhood and very good instructors in diving.
Some perfect dive sites of the 25 they have and i've been to is the beautiful Beaufighter wreck a British bomber airplane shot down at WW2 and it's still in perfect condition, a large cargo shipwreck called Marianna, Arado a German seaplane
from WW2 , and some wonderfull reefs with seashells (Naxos eyes), moorays,octapus, and sea turtles.
If you are lucky you will see dolphins when you are aboard in the all weather inflatable rib they have while you go for diving! I enjoyed it very much and i'm happy for my decision to visit Naxos Diving Centre.
