Diving in Madeira?

So it turns out I'm going to Madeira (Funchal) next week to accompany my dad and his impulsive habits of travelling.
We're staying at a hotell called Prestana Casino Park Hotel.
I have'nt had much time to do any research, but does anybody know if there is a PADI (or some other reknown) dive resort within reasonable proximity of our hotel?

Any recommendations will be highly appreciated!

I did a search, and found out there is a dive resort called Madeira Divepoint just "right down the alley". It's a 5 star PADI centre, does anyone have any experience with this resort?

My father came from Madeira don't recall which town. I'd be interested in reading any diving reports you'd like to share.
