Any recent returns about the quality of diving in lebanon ? Thanks for the help.

I am curious about Lebanon since I didn't hear about anybody diving there...
It seems there is a place where they sank armored vehicles and tanks underwater

I've personally never dove in Lebanon but, my boyfriend's father is originally from there and he grew up diving and spear fishing there. From the stories he's told us and the pictures we've seen it seems to be pretty decent diving. He did say that they did a lot of shore diving rather that boat dives.

Lebanon is the Mediterranean Sea so generally speaking its rougher , colder and has lower visibility comparing to the Red sea for example.

Whilst i haven't dove in Lebanon i have a usual spot right on the border with them that i dive often, it can be very nice but dont come with high expectations for colorful reefs or an abundance of marine life like you would get in the Red Sea.
