Hey guys, am gonna spend 4 nites on Langkawi in jan and for sure wanna do some diving. Can anyone have done that recommend any good dive shops? sites? I am tempted to check out Pulau Payar, is it worth doing? cheers, G.

I went to Payar Island and dived at this place called Coral Garden which I give 4 out of 5. Another dive site I went was Lembu Rock which was less fantastic.

Overall, Payar Island (in Langkawi) got about 10 dive sites, I think. It depends where the operator wants to go for that particular day. 2 dives with boat (1 hour ride), equipment rental + packed lunch cost me RM280 last time I was there.
