Netx August I am spending sometime on holidays in this remote 27 island archipelago off the coasts of central Java. I've been told diving is very good. Has someone been there and can comment?
 
Not been there, but for info, Marine Diving Club in Semarang will conduct reef check diving at Karimunjawa island with the theme " Save The Coral for our Future Children"

13 August : Departing to Karimunjawa from Semarang
14 & 15 August: Reef check
16 August : Fun dive
17 August : Coastal Clean Up (Shoreline & Underwater)
18 August : Back to Semarang
Contribution fee Rp. 650,000 for public (transportaion, accomodation, meal and dive gear rental)
