Diving in Jamaica

We will be going to Jamaica in June , staying at an all inclusive resort ( Breezes Runaway) that includes diving,...but they only allow 2 dives a day, and No night dives......I would appreciate any contact info for a dive operation in Montego, that I can book dives with directly....as the resort is about 15 miles away from town...Thanks....

Breezes is only 15 miles away from Montego Bay? More like about 1.5 hours away (unless they have finished the "highway"). Your other choice for more diving, and it isn't a choice, is Ocho Rios.

The best diving in the area is Runaway Bay. I've been there twice. Diving was okay. You can do night dives at your expense if you can get a minimum of four people together.

Be prepared for one thing. The diving is often called do to low viz, and on that side of the island, and with the reefs so close to shore, it is called pretty often. Last time there we got 6 dives (3 days) of diving in. The rest were called.

But if you like sailing....oooohhhh boy will you have fun!
