I will be in Oahu November and have arranged dives, my question is . Is it safe for me If I do 2 dives in the morning ..one deep 110' and one shallow reef 40'.....( 2 tanks ) ... and then 2 more shallow reef dives in the afternoon ...40' ( 2 tanks ) .....?

thanks

Ric

Short answer: almost certainly, but nothing is for sure. If you want to be somewhat careful, use nitrox; if you want to be even more careful, use nitrox and dive the computer set to air. Are you only doing one day of dives? 4 dives in a day with only one moderately deep one isn't something I'd worry about at all.

Personally, I'd say just do the dives on air unless your gas consumption rate is good enough that you're NDL limited on the deep dive rather than gas limited, then buy a tank of 32% for that dive. If you're doing a few days of 4 tank diving, paying extra for EAN for all the dives might make more sense.

Yes , only one day of diving, I'm there at the end of a month long trip with 3 other people , none of which are divers. I wanted to do the dive on air but not opposed to EAN. Thanks for your reply.
