We are planning trip to AC in November. Does anyone know what the weather and diving are like at that time? This may sound dumb, but is it still hurricaine season at that time?

Thanks for any replies.

Nov is late hurricane season but it's a possibility.

The typically hurricane season is over by then, and the weather i generally very nice 80+. the diving is very good that time of year. The only problem that can occur at that time of year is if the wind is blowing to hard for the boats to outside the reef.

At that time of the year it's unusual for the wind to be too strong and easterly for boats to transit the reef - that's more likely in Feb/Mar. As Steve says, the weather in November (actually Aug-Dec) is generally very calm and diving conditions are superb. Only the occasional hurricane/storm will spoil that, and in reality even in a busy storm season like this conditions are dead calm most of the time. A very good time to visit - just ensure you have good trip insurance in case of a storm.
