has anyone used these gloves and if so are they any good and are they expensive?how do they dock to the suit?

Awww heck, we all know you're too big of a tightwad to spend more on a set of gloves than ya paid for your suit, so why not just make your own?
Grab a couple of chunks of 4" dia PVC pipe about 1½"-2" wide & a couple of pairs of those $1-$2 /pair army surplus chemical gloves & snap some Hoover (Elite) type 16 vacuum cleaner belts over the critters. Total cost maybe $5.
(I get the belts at the 99¢ Store down the street at 2 for 99¢)
If you want to get fancy, those blue Smurf gloves can be had from commercial fishing gear suppliers for $15/pair, they're made by Atlas & repackaged by Showa after doubleing the price.

I have the DC dry gloves (neoprene) and they work great. I think they cost $200 or maybe $250 at the LDS. He attached them to my DUI suit in about 5 minutes. I couldn't really follow what he was doing but he said it was easy.

They're easy to use and keep my hands warm. Couldn't ask for much more. Well, I guess they could have been free.

I don't have the DC gloves but have the generic equivalent. The big difference being that the gloves, rings and liners cost $45.00 for the set. They still use the same two ring design with a double O-ring seal and I have had zero problems with them for the last two years.

I have DC drygloves attached to my dry suit and dive with them. I think the kit was under $200 from COVCI.

They can be mounted to maintain the existing wrist seal or not. I have them mounted without maintaining the original latex seal, I don’t care for the pressure of the seals on my wrists.

Generally I like them; I can’t imagine diving dry without dry gloves. However, it can be very difficult to break the seal between the suit and glove ring to get them off, so if I was doing it again I would take a look at the
Nordic Blue Rolock Dry Glove System.

Where do you get the "generic equivalent"?

Bob3, which gloves would you think best from this page:http://www.reddeninc.com/atlasgloves.htm ?
The Atlas 490 (and the 460) are the goodies. Some folks don't like the attached lining (or want to use a heavier liner) & snip it out around the cuff.
Watch out around zebes (zebra mussels), those "organic razor blades" can cause quick mischief on the softer gloves.

most of the dry divers up here use viking dry cuffs and 'marigolds', (black rubber gloves from local fishing supply stores)with cotton glove liners, or polar fleece light weight gloves. you can easily double the gloves if near something sharp ;)

I got them from the local dive shop. I have no clue who makes them but can try to find out on Tuesday.
