Hi all,

My first post in this forum. These are shots from a trip taken last month. I'm a newbie so be gentle. You'll see that I was still figuring out white balance adjustment in a lot of these. I'd welcome your critique and ID corrections.

Thanks,

First....Welcome to Scubaboard!

I found a few ID corrections...in order....
Candy Cane - Spiney Flower Coral or Atlantic Mushroom Cora
Lined Trunkfish - Scrawled Cowfish
Coral (fuzzy one) - Pillar coral
Wrasses - various juv. Parrotfish. Would need closer photos to ID each one.
Urchin - Reddish one is a Reef Urchin. Black one is Long-Spined Urchin
Unknown crustaceon - Spanish Slipper Lobster
Lizardfish - Red Hind or Graysby

As for a critique....try to get lower, more on your subjects level. Shoot slightly up if poosible. When you shoot down on a subject, it makes the photo flat. Of course there are times when that's the only chance you get! Of course, that just means you have to go back and keep practicing!

Thanks Dee. Thanks for IDing that Spanish Slipper Lobster. I'd never seen anything like it before, it was fascinating. Corrections noted and made.

That's pretty good for having so few dives under your (weight) belt! Good job!
