I'm a Fish!
I understand there is an option to dive at Xcaret... anyone been diving there that can tell me a little about the dive site, cost, etc?

Ive dove with them before (picture a small koske by the pool with a guy selling dive excursions in addition to parasailing etc).... not a fan. Not really a dive op, just a guy selling dives who can hook you up. So much easier to surf the net for a dive op in PDC or to wing it and just go into PDC and find one (you can stand in the middle of town and throw a rock and hit several of them). Ive dove with Yucateck in PDC before and was very happy

Its about what I expected... are Tulum or Xel Ha any better?

Just my opinion, if you are going to go to Xcaret, spend the day doing things that you can only see at Xcaret. Save the diving for another time.

There are some nice sites off of Xcaret and many of the Playa dive ops go there. Such a Baracuda and the Mama Vinia
