Going on a Celebrity cruise around March 20th. one of the stops is St. Lucia, been there before (but did not dive). The excursion is 7 hours from the cruise ship. I was wondering if the diviing is worth the 2 hour bus ride their and back with 4 hours of diving? It may be at Amse Chastenate(sp?) Any info would be appreciated

Anse Chastenet used to pick cruise ship passengers by boat in Castries (a much faster and safer ride then in a mini-van on those roads). E-mail them directly and ask if they still have the concession, and how they perform the dives. Diving the house reef at Anse Chastenet is well worth the boat ride, I don't know if I would endure a taxi/minivan ride. OBTW, I was a scuba instructor in St. Lucia for a year in 1998, but not at Anse Chastenet. They have a booking office in Miami you can call directly. They may be able to answer your questions.
