Anyone up for a dive this weekend? I plan on diving Lanier on Sunday morning. Open for new dive spots other then WBP if anyone has one that is doubles friendly...:)

Hi,
I'm a new OW diver and would like to get together with some folks to build dives and hours. I am available on Saturday this week.

Anyone going to be there? :D

I would like to come out and meet some of yall and get some dives in here locally.

However, I just got back from a few days of diving in WPB (West Palm Beach :D) and I think my computer is going Tango Uniform. So I have it off and on the way to the service center. Maybe one of these weekends. :(

you really dont need a computer,we usually do fairly shallow dives this time of year,up to 50-60 ft,thats at least 60 minutes worth.

Mike, what time are you planning on diving? I might be able to dive Sunday morning, but it will have to be early.

Yea, but the problem is that over the years, I have gone to an AI computer (Suunto Cobra). I no longer have a depth gauge or SPG. So, the computer goes, and I am done. I have actually had this in the back of my mind for a while in that I should probably add some redundancy in case the failure occurrs under water.

If the cobra is DOA, I am seriously considering going back to non-AI computer, SPG, and possibly a depth gauge on the consle as well. Eh. I dont know. That is a decision for later. I really just hope my cobra gets fixed.

Anyhow, I say all this to say, thanks for the invite and encouragement. I would if I could, but right now I am on the bench.:(

Shoot, I have two spare regulator sets you could have used, just let me know in time next time (as long as scubaboard stays up). Had about 6-7 other divers there this morning. Viz wasn't as good as two weeks ago but it will get better if we don't get more rain.
